Simple Paleo Strawberries & Cream is made with full fat coconut milk, vanilla, and the season’s sweetest strawberries for a simple and delicious dessert!
Have you noticed that strawberries are especially sweet right now?
There’s a reason! Strawberries are in the height of their season, which typically runs from June to August.
I know it’s strawberry season when I walk into the grocery store and can immediately smell them. I hunt down the table, admire the unusually low price {supply outweighing demand}, and start sniffing for the best smelling box.
Yes, I get looks.
Do you see that chick smelling all the strawberries? She cray.
Smelling strawberries is the best way to pick them. The more intense the strawberry smell, the tastier the fruit. Try it!
I especially love summer strawberries when they’re swimming in sweet cream …which was usually served in a styrofoam cup from a street vendor at a soccer game …and um, they may have been loaded with extra sugar, dairy {of course}, and a few other mystery {but delicious} ingredients.
Worry not, my paleo-conscious friends. I’ve got an amazingly delicious, dairy free, strangely simple recipe that will hit the spot. Behold! My Paleo Strawberries & Cream!
For this really simple Paleo Strawberries & Cream recipe, I whisk 1 can of full-fat organic coconut milk with a little vanilla, pour over fresh strawberries, and enjoy. Heck! Top ‘em with a few pecans if you’re feeling fancy. This simple dessert is great for quiet evenings at home or for a large group you’re entertaining.
Gus sniffing the strawberries. He’s my best student.
Enjoy!
