Red for Spring

Today's fashion post is all about red for Spring!

Red for Spring

My friend Hayley of Primal Palate said something so fitting the other day. She said that Spring fashion is a lot like Fall fashion, only Summer is coming, not Winter. THAT pretty much sums up this post! While the temperatures teeter between sweater and tank weather, I like to put together outfits that are comfortable in any degree. With my legs covered by my favorite tall boots, I chose this incredibly comfortable Leith Racerback Shift Dress as the key feature. This flattering dress falls nicely and comes in a variety of fun colors. Though I love the yellow and green options, I thought red for Spring would be a fun way to ring in the new season!

Pair it with a simple cardigan in the morning and take it off in the afternoon, as the temperatures warm up, for a cute, near-summer look. If you're looking for a cardigan, here are a few options: this chunky one HERE is totally dreamy, HERE is a basic lightweight longer variety, and HERE is a classic 3/4 sleeve button-up at a great price point.

Note that if you're in-between sizes, order one down in this dress. It's a bit roomy …which can be a perk if you enjoy roomier dresses!

The earrings I'm wearing, like in my Little Black Romper blog post, are from a company called Noonday! These Nebula Earrings were hand-crafted in Guatemala!
