Today's Fed & Fit Fashion post is all about how to be a brazen, fun, bold snow bunny.  I've always struggled with feeling fashionable in a puffy (re:non shapely) winter coat, and it only took me ten years to figure out the tricks I'm sharing with you!

Today's pictures were snapped at the top of a mountain in Steamboat Springs, CO! My family made the trip this past week to watch my sister, Kimberly Dunn, perform at the annual Texas County MusicFest. Though dressing for cool weather *used* to mean that I'd just pile on every article of clothing in my closet, I'm happy to say that I've found a way to graduate to a more polished look. Thanks to these shapely compression pants, ruffled sweater, fun beaded necklace, SUPER WARM waterproof boots, and you-can't-miss-me bright orange jacket, I felt like I finally have a snowy fashion game.  The thing I love most about this look, is that each layer can be worn on it's own, so it makes for a super versatile travel friendly ensemble!

This jacket is actually a ski jacket! As such, it has a lot of awesome pockets, is waterproof, and is extremely warm. I LOVE this jacket. It kept me warm and dry. I made the jacket more shapely by cinching it at the waste with my favorite (affordable) western-style belt, but you can find something from your own closet to complete your look with a personal signature flair!

These boots take snow boot fashion to a whole other level with the addition of a soft and eye catching fur trim that I just adore.  A pair of giant sunnies and a fabulous purse is all you need for a complete look!

Here's to bold snow bunnies!
