LBR: Little Black Romperjump to recipe
Today's post is an ode to the LBR, the little back romper!
There's something so fabulous, yet so effortless about a romper. They always make getting dressed feel like such a breeze. The only “outfit thinking” left to contemplate is which pair of shoes, what bag, and what sun glasses I'll snag on my way out the door. When I'm short on time, but want to (or need to) dress up, I'll always opt for a romper.
When it comes to rompers, it doesn't get more classic than black. Though different body shapes do well with different cuts, I'm a fan of the wide-leg romper with adjustable straps (like the one I'm wearing here). This particular romper has the loveliest ruffle details and comes in at a GREAT price point. If you're ever looking for budget-friendly pieces with a LOT of personality, I highly recommend Pixie Market. I've found some of my *most* favorite fun wardrobe pieces there. To give you an example, check out this blouse, this amazing blouse, and this adorable blouse, too.
Note about this particular romper: if you're in-between sizes, I recommend going up one! Though this one fits me, I would have preferred a little more room.
I completed this look with a pair of my go-to classic black pumps (Kate Spade makes the BEST pumps), a black purse which I brightened with a floral scarf, and my go-to Karen Walker sunglasses. The earrings I'm wearing are from a company called Noonday! I absolutely love every piece I've gotten from Noonday. The mission behind the company, their work to bring dignified jobs to ladies around the world (helping them provide for their families), and the heart-felt craftsmanship won me over. These Prima Earrings were hand-crafted in Peru!
Because rompers and jumpsuits come in so many fun shapes, I've also linked to several other LBR's that I think are just as fabulous below! I hope you find something that becomes your instantly-fabulous wardrobe staple.
