Lemon Pepper Yogurt Grilled Chicken

This grilled chicken breast is tender, juicy, and filled with lemon-pepper flavor!



1 cup Stonyfield Whole Milk Yogurt

1 tablespoon lemon zest (about 1 lemon)

1/4 cup lemon juice (about 2 lemons)

3 garlic cloves, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)

1 teaspoon cracked black pepper

1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt

1 1/2 pounds chicken breast


  1. Whisk together the yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, garlic, pepper, and sea salt in a large bowl, then add the chicken and toss to coat. Let marinate for at least 30 minutes, up to 24 hours.
  2. Preheat the grill to high heat – about 450 to 500F.
  3. Remove the chicken from the marinade and let the excess marinade drain off of it, then spray your grill with olive oil and place the chicken breast on it. Cook for 4-5 minutes per side, until the chicken is browned and has reached an internal temperature of 160 F, or the juices run clear.
  4. Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 10 minutes, then slice and serve!
