Happy New Year!

Hello and Happy New Year! Can you believe we’ve made it to 2020? This past year flew by in a flash and left me beyond grateful, and SO excited for the year ahead. 2019 marked a huge year for Fed and Fit – we published Cook Once, Eat All Week and are STILL astonished by your enthusiastic responses to it, we added two new full-time team members, re-launched the website, and my friend Diane San Filippo and I started the Driven podcast. Personally, my daughter Graysen Joy turned 1, I became pregnant with our 2nd, we adopted sweet Great Pyrenees puppy Ben, and I grew tremendously as a wife and mother.

So, what’s in store for 2020? So much! I’m currently hard at work on Book #3, which I think will be my best yet, we’re moving into our office in late Spring, which means a studio kitchen and the ability to bring you more video content, we’ll be launching a site for Cook Once, Eat All Week with a suite of tools, tips, and tricks to help you get dinner on the table even faster, launching My Selfcare Club to help you incorporate self-care into your daily routine in a no-stress, easy way, and of course we’ll be bringing you tons of content every week to help make healthy living easy. On the personal side, Gray will turn 2, I will continue this healthy pregnancy and deliver a healthy baby, and we will build our dream home. I am so, so grateful for all that lies ahead.

What I’m Loving Right Now

  1. Dazzle Dry – safer polish that dries instantly, applies well, and that is lasting me 10 days (at least) per manicure!
  2. Full Focus Planner – my favorite planner! Great for setting annual and quarterly goals. I especially love the “ideal week” schedule – allows me to set intentions so that when I do have a calm schedule, I can refer back to an ideal calendar (like my favorite fitness classes, date night, etc.). The call out of 3 “main” goals each day also helps me set practical intentions and prioritize what’s most important.
  3. Primally Pure Masks – these new masks are FABULOUS. I’ve been using them for several weeks now and am completely in love. If you have sensitive skin that needs a refresh after all the holiday makeup and dry winter weather, I can’t recommend the Soothing Mask enough! Note: they’re sticky! I recommend applying with a brush (like this one from Beautycounter) and removing it with a warm/wet washcloth.
