I am so excited to share a perfect Paleo-friendly canned soup with you today – True Primal Beef & Vegetable Soup!

True Primal Soup-2

When I decided to take the Paleo plunge (stop eating grains, legumes, dairy, processed sugars, and artificial ingredients all in the interest of my long-term health), one food I sincerely missed was canned beef & vegetable soup! Growing up, it was one of the first meals I remember preparing for myself and I continued to lean on it throughout college. It was the perfect dorm room food because it was easy to store in my tiny closet and heated up quickly in my tiny microwave. I’d serve my coveted soup with a dollop of yellow mustard (weird, I know) and a large pile of saltine crackers. The soup reminded me of home and I’d thought it was a healthy choice.

Now, I (we) know better. I know that the crackers and soup with added sugars, grains, unpronounceable preservatives, canola oil, and artificial flavors/colors likely harmed my health more than they helped. My comfort food didn’t support a healthy body like I thought. When I first learned about Paleo and then saw TREMENDOUS success after a year following the template (remember that I lost 10 dress sizes without starving myself), I stopped buying canned soup.

Over 6 years have passed since I last cracked open a can of soup and I’m THRILLED to say that the waiting for a Paleo-friendly option is over. True Primal Beef & Vegetable Soup is a robust soup reminiscent of my old favorite, minus the unhealthy ingredients.

The ingredients read: water, diced tomatoes (tomatoes, tomato juice, citric acid, calcium chloride), diced beef (beef, water), carrots, onions, green peas, green beans, tomato paste, chicken broth, rendered chicken fat, pork gelatin, sea salt, spices, paprika (color), dehydrated garlic.

It’s gluten-free, corn-free, preservative-free, grain-free, dairy-free, canola oil-free, and artificial flavor/color-free. It’s the REAL deal, you guys. It’s real food prepared and canned for your convenience and health.

Each can costs roughly $4 and includes 20 g of protein – a pretty good deal, if you ask me. Learn more and snag a case of True Primal Beef & Vegetable Soup today.

  1. Hi Cassie,
I pre-ordered your cookbook a while back and I can’t wait for it to be delivered to my door step. I am truly inspired that you have lost 10 dress sizes. I am new to Paleo and have been doing it for about 5 months. Although the weight on the scale doesn’t show, I do have a lot more room in my clothes. Will your cookbook include a meal plan or some kind? I also made your Flourless Choc Cake and it was awesome.

    1. Hi Sondra! Thanks so much for the kind words and preordering the book! Just remember the number on the scale isn’t always the most important, but how you feel is! The cookbook will have a meal plan. I can’t wait for you to receive it!
