Lemony Garlic Parmesan Pasta

This garlic parmesan pasta is the perfect side dish for anything from fish to chicken!

Ingredients

  • 12 ounces spaghetti we used this one for gluten-free
  • 1 teaspoon extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons butter or extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 cup shredded parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  • Boil the noodles according to package instructions, then drain and toss with 1 teaspoon olive oil.
  • Melt the butter in a medium saucepan over medium heat, then add the garlic. Cook for 1-2 minutes, until fragrant and just beginning to brown, then remove from heat.
  • Add the pasta to the pot and toss to combine with the garlic butter. Add the parmesan and salt and toss to combine again, then stir in the lemon juice. Serve immediately.
