Preheat the oven to 250°F.
To start, you’ll need to peel the paper off of your crayons.
Once the paper is peeled, go ahead and break the crayons into smaller pieces (exactly how small will depend on the size of your heart molds).
Fill each mold with the broken crayons, being intentional to include some of each color in each of the molds.
Place the silicone molds on a baking sheet (this will help them to be much sturdier and easier to handle!) and pop them in the oven for 15 minutes.
After 15 minutes, check to see if the crayons are totally melted. If they aren’t, add 5 more minutes. Once melted, pull them out of the oven.
Once the molds are out of the oven, let them cool completely. If you’re looking to speed up this process, stick the molds (with the sheet pan still under them as support) in the freezer.
Once totally cooled and hardened, pop the hearts out of their molds! Give them as Valentine’s Day gifts or keep them at home for a fun spin on traditional crayons.
