Margarita Mix

Homemade margarita mix is so easy and makes the most robust, fresh, and flavorful base for the tastiest margaritas.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup lime juice
  • 8 tablespoons (1/2 cup) agave syrup
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract

Instructions

  • Add all your ingredients to a pitcher and stir to combine
  • If you are not going to use your mix right away, cover your pitcher or transfer to a jar with a lid and chill in the refrigerator until you are ready to serve your cocktails.
  • When you are ready to enjoy, pour over ice and add your favorite tequila (or add the mix and tequila into a shaker, then pour over ice), and enjoy!

Notes

Serving Suggestions
  • For 2 servings: ¼ cup lime juice, 2 tablespoons agave, ¼ teaspoon orange extract
  • For 4 servings: ½ cup lime juice, 4 tablespoons (¼ cup) agave, ½ teaspoon orange extract
  • For 6 servings: ¾ cup lime juice, 6 tablespoons agave, ¾ teaspoon orange extract
  • For 12 servings: 1 ½ cups lime juice, 12 tablespoons (¾ cup) agave, 1 ½ teaspoons orange extract
For 8 servings, add 2 cups of tequila, depending on how strong you want your margarita to be.
