Easy Oven Baked Chicken Breast

This oven baked chicken breast comes out tender and juicy every time!

Ingredients

  • 1 pound boneless skinless chicken breasts, rinsed and patted dry
  • 2 teaspoons extra-virgin olive oil
  • ½ teaspoon fine sea salt
  • ¼ teaspoon ground black pepper

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F. Line a rimmed baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • Coat the chicken breasts with olive oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place them on the prepared baking sheet and bake for 18 minutes, or until the chicken registers 165 F on a thermometer at the thickest part of the breast and the juices run clear and the chicken just begins to brown.
  • Let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
