- 2 ribeye or New York strip steaks ½-1 inch thick
- 1 tablespoon coarse or flaky salt per pound of steak
Place the steaks on a plate, pat them dry, and salt them on both sides.
Let the salted steaks rest and come to room temperature for 30 minutes.
Cook as desired!
