Fall Apple Cider Margarita Recipe

With apple cider as the star of the show here (and a few really special garnishes), this margarita recipe is such a fun, festive take on the classic citrus cocktail!

Ingredients

For 2 servings:

  • 1/2 cup apple cider
  • 1/2 cup of tequila
  • 1/4 cup Grand Marnier
  • 1/4 cup fresh lime juice
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar optional, for a sweeter margarita
  • 1 lime wedge for dampening the rim for the sugar (optional)
  • 2 teaspoons brown sugar for the rim (optional)
  • fresh apple slices for serving (optional)
  • cinnamon sticks for serving (optional)
  • fresh rosemary sprigs for serving (optional)

Instructions

  • Mix the apple cider, tequila, Grand Marnier, lime juice, and agave (if using) together, and taste for sweetness. If needed, add more agave.
  • Rub the lime wedge over the rim of each glass, roll in the brown sugar, and tap off the excess.
  • Fill each glass with ice and pour in the margarita. Garnish with the optional apple slices, cinnamon, and rosemary, and serve!
