Baked Potato in Microwave

Next time you’re planning to make stuffed baked potatoes, try cooking the potatoes in the microwave instead of the oven -- it’s a kitchen hack that’ll save you SO MUCH time!

Ingredients

  • 4 russet potatoes medium-sized

Instructions

  • Using a fork, poke holes in each potato. Then, wrap each potato in a damp paper towel.
  • Place the paper towel-wrapped potatoes in the microwave and microwave on high for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, using an oven mitt, squeeze the potatoes to test for doneness; if it gives, it's done. If it doesn’t, microwave in 2-minute increments until soft, testing for doneness after each spell.
