Ingredients

  • ½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lemon juice (the juice from 1 lemon)
  • 4-5 cups berries (any combination of strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries), cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons fresh mint leaves

Instructions

  • Whisk together the cinnamon, honey, and lemon juice in the bottom of your serving bowl.
  • Add the fruit, toss to combine, and top with the fresh mint.

Notes

Berries (as with any produce) can be pretty dirty! We recommend washing your berries really well with a vinegar and water mixture (1 part vinegar to 3 parts water). Simply add the vinegar and water to a large bowl, dump the berries in, and use your hands to gently agitate the berries, allowing any dirt or grime to release. Let the berries sit for at least 5 minutes in the vinegar and water mixture, then drain them in a colander and give them a good rinse.
