This is the giveaway of all giveaways!
My friends over at Victory Belt Publishing {aka, “the Paleo publisher”}, have graciously provided a 5 book bundle valued at over $115.00 for one lucky Fed & Fit winner!!
I am such a book nerd. I love, love, LOVE to read! I always have three books on my nightstand, a dozen scattered across my desk, two in my computer bag, and one in my purse. Sure I could rely on an iPad and save myself some shoulder pain, desk space, and the predictable scolding from my massage therapist {“stop carrying such a heavy bag!”}, but I love a real book. I love the weight of them. I love highlighting, dog-earing, and writing my own notes in the margins. I read nutrition and cookbooks like they’re gripping thriller novels. I eat them up! #punintended
While I do my best to rotate one fun fiction novel in for every 3 scientific, this tiny glimpse of one bookshelf tells the real truth about where my loyalties lie:

Also, if you can’t tell, over half of the books are Victory Belt masterpieces. Masterpieces, I say!
So what’s included in this all-star giveaway?
#1. The Paleo Solution by Robb Wolf {Blog: Robb Wolf}

This is where it all started. If you’re new to Paleo or really want to get to the root and origin of this life-changing real food-focused health movement, this book explains it all. Robb Wolf is an incredibly entertaining author and his introduction of the Paleo lifestyle is beyond enrolling. The proof of the power of this book is in how large the Paleo world has become. Hat tip to Mr. Wolf.
#2. Practical Paleo by Diane Sanfilippo {Blog: Balanced Bites}

This is the thorough and best-selling debut publication by the lovely Diane who also authored The 21-Day Sugar Detox! If you’re looking for handy meal plans, entertaining food science education, and delicious recipes to kickstart your Paleo lifestyle, then this is the book for you. It’s also a fantastic reference book to keep on hand.
#3. Beyond Bacon by Stacy Toth and Matt McCarry {Blog: The Paleo Parents}

I have a deep, meaningful love of this book. It’s a book dedicated to the WHOLE hog and is the star of my coffee table. The brilliant foodie minds of Stacy and Matt gave us a handbook to turn an entire hog into mind-blowing, delicious, gorgeous Paleo-friendly dishes. I often find myself day dreaming about their lard brownies. #bestbrownieofmylife
#4. Fermented by Jill Ciciarelli {Blog: First Comes Health}

Fermenting seasonal food is an ancient, health-promoting practice that’s a truly important addition to all Paleo, primal, and W.A.P. lifestyles. Jill walks you through a really interesting background on food fermentation and then shares steps for how you can ferment {pretty much anything} from home! Later this year, I’ll share my own recipe for homemade spicy sauerkraut!
#5. Becoming a Supple Leopard by Dr. Kelly Starrett {of Mobility WOD} and Glen Cordoza

Is this not the most brilliant book title you’ve ever seen? Dr. Starrett, the genius behind MobilityWOD.com, wrote this training manual to help any athlete at any level pin-point, recover, and prevent common injuries. It’s a fantastic reference book to have on hand for active families, gym owners, coaches, and the person looking to get the most out of their athletic performance and overall health.
Aren’t those exciting reads?? Even if you’re not the winner of this giveaway, the book titles above will link you to where you can order each book.

Awesome collection! Had my eye on Beyond Bacon and Becoming A Supple Leopard for a while. P.S. Love your blog!
I THINK I’m going to like Practical Paleo a lot, since I know a lot ABOUT Paleo, but haven’t really made the switch fully. We’ll see!! ๐ Btw, Cassie, it’s amazing to see you take this whole thing on. LOVE that you’re going for it! I cheer for you with every success!
Thanks, Catherine!!
I LOVE everything about your post today! My only real new year’s resolution (other than to keep doing what I have been doing) is to research more on the gluten free cooking and therefore I SO NEED to check out these books. So far everything you have recommended has been spot on, and so I am HUNGRY for more (haha yes Cassie I tried to make it punny!). Thanks for all your hard work and suggestions ๐
Borrowing Practical Paleo from the library got me started and Well Fed kept me going (so many yummy recipes)!
I love any and all Paleo cooking books! I love the science that goes behind building great recipes. Any cookbooks on Fed & Fit’s horizon? ๐
Haha good question, Cassie! I’ve got something up my sleeve ๐
I love Nom Nom Paleo’s book. She is super funny and it is well illustrated.
My favorite paleo books are the Nom Nom Paleo cookbook and Practical Paleo! Both are great resources and have amazing food!
I would love this bundle!! Great additions to my collection.
I would love to read fermented. Just completed my first batch of kombucha and want to try more fermented foods!
Was diagnosed with Celiac disease in 2009 and an eating disorder in 2011 and have been journeying toward health and wholeness since then. Your practical and healthy approach to exercise and food is real and encouraging to me. I am starting the 21 day sugar detox today and would absolutely love a few Paleo resources to get me started!
This would be perfect for our family of 3 as we’re trying to find Paleo foods that everyone can agree on. Picky picky eaters.
I really love your blog and feel like I tell everyone about it now. I actually get excited about the recipes vs just looking at them and moving on.
Keep up the great work!
I love In Defense of Food. I think that’s what got me started on this journey. It was the first time I started to think about where my food comes from and how I want to eat.
I have this thing where I buy a gazillion cookbooks, because they are beautiful AND helpful. I would love to win this.
Practical Paleo. I love the practical advice that Diane gives in the book. It’s the first Paleo book I bought for myself and one I recommend to anyone looking into the Paleo lifestyle.
