Welcome to our “Get to Know” series! Each Tuesday (for the next year), we’re going to introduce you to a creator in the wellness space that we think you NEED to know. The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether they’re an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. We’re setting this up Q&A-style so that you can learn more about each creator’s why, the content that they’re most proud of, and exactly how you can be a part of and contribute to their journey. We hope you enjoy our conversations with these wonderful people and brands. We know they’re going to enrich your lives!

This week, we’re interviewing Andy of Beautiful Eats & Things. From tons of healthy recipes, to all things health and wellness, to fun, creative crafts for the home, to entertaining tips and tricks, Andy DOES IT ALL! Follow along as we learn more about Andy + Beautiful Eats & Things:

Why did you start your business?

Andy: I started my business while I was working my full-time job as a Registered Dietitian in a long-term care facility. In a house full of boys, I wanted my own creative outlet to showcase my recipes and a few of my DIY projects. I knew absolutely nothing about blogging! I just knew that I wanted something to call my own.

What’s your mission/purpose statement?

Andy: I want to show people that living a healthier lifestyle doesn’t have to be filled with restriction and deprivation. It can include the foods that you love. I also want to show people that health doesn’t have a particular size and that you can’t judge someone’s health status solely based on their appearance.

What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?

Andy: I am super proud of my most recent feature in POPSUGAR! I was featured as the body-positive dietitian that provides encouraging messages through my videos. I am also proud of one of my blog posts that shares my journey towards becoming a dietitian

Where are you going next? What’s your goal for the next year?

Andy: I am also working on bringing more content to my other blog, Little Eats & Things.

How can we (and the Fed and Fit community) best support you?

Andy: I would love for them to follow all of my social media channels (@beautifuleatsandthings) and subscribe to my site to receive their FREE Healthy One-Pot Cookbook! Also, visit my shop to check out my merch!
