Welcome to our “Get to Know” series! Each Tuesday (for the next year), we’re going to introduce you to a creator in the wellness space that we think you NEED to know. The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether they’re an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. We’re setting this up Q&A-style so that you can learn more about each creator’s why, the content that they’re most proud of, and exactly how you can be a part of and contribute to their journey. We hope you enjoy our conversations with these wonderful people and brands. We know they’re going to enrich your lives!

This week, we’re interviewing Ashley Brown of Routine & Things. Ashley hosts the Routine and Things Podcast, “which serves to help you get and stay in your happy place using routines as your guide.” Ashley also sells TONS of resources to help you on your road to your best, organized, routine-driven self! Follow along as we learn more about Ashley:

Why did you start your business?

Ashley: Since I was a child, I’ve always been a routine girl. The girl with the yearly planner, colored pens, and pretty organizer. That fell apart when I transitioned from being a working mom to stay at home mom. Being a stay at home mom was a dream I thought would never come true so when it did, I was so overjoyed. That joy quickly turned into overwhelm and frustration. I found myself not being able to manage my home plus I lost sight of myself which dramatically affected my mental health.

I knew in order to change my narrative something had to change. I began to lean into what helped me in the past, routines. One by one, routines brought me back to life and allowed me to care for my home with ease and intention. After realizing the positive impact routines had on my life, I had to share this with other women, especially moms. So in 2019, I started Routine and Things. I see it as my duty to help women start, maintain, and enjoy routines through information and products that can help!

What’s your mission/purpose statement?

Ashley: To equip women to consistently live their happiest life one routine at a time!

What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?

Ashley: I enjoy hosting the Routine and Things Podcast, a hub for routine information and inspiration. These are the top 3 episodes I believe you may find extremely valuable!

Where are you going next? What’s your goal for the next year?

Ashley: My goal is to create more routine resources and useful products that help women live their happiest life one routine at a time. I am excited to continue to share my knowledge and creativity in service of other women. This is only the beginning for Routine and Things!

How can we (and the Fed and Fit community) best support you?

Ashley: I would love for you to subscribe to the Routine and Things Podcast, follow along on Instagram, and shop Routine and Things! There are plenty of routine resources and tools that can help you start, maintain, and enjoy routines. Our products also make great gifts for any special women or moms in your life who could benefit from adopting routines. Your support means a lot and is greatly appreciated!
