The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether they’re an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. This week, we’re interviewing Brandi Crawford of Stay Snatched. Brandi is an air fryer PRO and creates delicious recipes that promote a balanced, healthy lifestyle with room for treats and indulgences! Follow along as we learn more about Brandi:
Why did you start your business?
Brandi: I spent my early adulthood crash dieting and yo-yo dieting primarily for summer vacations and my birthday. After getting burned out on the mental stress of dieting, I decided to become committed to a dedicated healthy lifestyle. For me, a healthy lifestyle incorporates healthy meals regularly but also includes your favorite foods and treats from time to time through balance and moderation.
I launched my site as a resource to provide an illustration of a lifestyle that includes flexible eating and does not cling to dieting 100% of the time.
I originally started the site to share all of the recipes I was making at the time. I launched the site in November 2016. Things moved quickly and I grew pretty fast. In November 2018 I quit my job working for a Fortune 10 company as a CPA.
What’s your mission/purpose statement?
Brandi: To share quick and easy healthy recipes that won’t keep you tied up in the kitchen.
What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?
- Cajun Shrimp Pasta: This is a favorite for a few reasons. For starters, it has an amazing cream sauce that everyone loves! I also tested this recipe in two ways. One method uses standard linguine pasta and the other method uses low carb linguine. I’m starting to add a couple of versions to a lot of my recipes based on the feedback from my audience. Some only want low carb recipes and there are others who want recipes using standard pantry staple ingredients.
- Air Fryer Chick-Fil-A Copycat Chicken Sandwich: This recipe was a hit from the moment I pressed publish!
- Healthy Peach Cobbler: This is my all-time favorite dessert. I had to test out a recipe that lightened the dish up a bit!
Where are you going next? What’s your goal for the next year?
Brandi: I want to continue to grow my audience. In the last few months, we have seen more people opening their eyes to the issues our country faces surrounding social justice. As a Black woman and blogger, I have noticed that more people are starting to look at my work. I hope the trend continues and I hope I can continue to foster a community that is more united and excited to get into the kitchen.

Brandi: I’m most active on Instagram @stay_snatched. I have a cookbook, The Super Easy Air Fryer Cookbook available on Amazon. I also have a 21 Day Meal Low Carb Meal Plan that includes a guide of what to eat for breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, along with a host of other goodies.
