Welcome to our โGet to Knowโ series! Each Tuesday (for the next year), weโre going to introduce you to a creator in the wellness space that we think you NEED to know. The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether theyโre an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. Weโre setting this up Q&A-style so that you can learn more about each creatorโs why, the content that theyโre most proud of, and exactly how you can be a part of and contribute to their journey. We hope you enjoy our conversations with these wonderful people and brands. We know theyโre going to enrich your lives!
This week, weโre interviewing Carita of Seasoned to Taste. Carita is all about creating simple (but super flavorful) recipes that โinspire you to get in the kitchen more, especially if youโre most apprehensive.โ She โlove[s] converting non-believers and helping you gain confidence.โ Thatโs our kind of cook, yโall! Follow along as we learn more about Carita:
Why did you start your business?
Carita: Transitioning from corporate to being a SAHM opened new doors and I was able to pursue my passion! Food tells a story and connects us and itโs how I am best able to express myself. Iโve always had a love for cooking and entertaining and being able to turn that into a business has been the best gift!
Whatโs your mission/purpose statement?
Carita: My purpose is to connect! My content is focused around recipes and adventuring through parenthood. ToTrition was birthed from that and is a subset of STT providing ToT friendly meals and activities. My hope is to help and inspire home cooks who can create easy recipes for their families filled with flavor and fun ingredients!
What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?
Carita: Cajun Shrimp Deviled Eggs, Crab Sushi Bake + โCarne Asadaโ Mushroom Tacos (Bonus entry would be anything โToTritionโ!)!
Where are you going next? Whatโs your goal for the next year?
Carita: To continue to grow my community, partner with brands that connect with my mission and develop my food photography skills! (Fun fact-Iโve been shooting with an iPhone for almost a year!)
How can we (and the Fed and Fit community) best support you?
Carita: ENGAGE, SHARE and FOLLOW! The biggest way to support my labor of love is by sharing my content with anyone who would benefit. Engaging and connecting on social sites (@_seasonedtotaste) and my blog site is the greatest support!
