Welcome to our โGet to Knowโ series! Each Tuesday (for the next year), weโre going to introduce you to a creator in the wellness space that we think you NEED to know. The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether theyโre an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. Weโre setting this up Q&A-style so that you can learn more about each creatorโs why, the content that theyโre most proud of, and exactly how you can be a part of and contribute to their journey. We hope you enjoy our conversations with these wonderful people and brands. We know theyโre going to enrich your lives!
This week, weโre interviewing Riyana Rupani of Healthyish and Happy. Riyana is โa Certified Holistic Nutritionist (NTP), Certified Whole30 Coach, Mom of 3 boys, Recipe Developer, and a lover of all things FOOD!โ Follow along as we learn more about Riyana:
Why did you start your business?
Riyana: Quite simply, to help others like me. I used to be a stressed-out workaholic who didn’t understand how her food and lifestyle choices were affecting her health. Many years later after dealing with hormonal imbalances, infertility, and autoimmune conditions, I decided to take my health into my own hands. I simply don’t want anyone to go through what I did if they didn’t have to.
Whatโs your mission/purpose statement?
Riyana: My passion is cooking, developing delicious healthy recipes, and teaching others about the power of real food, lifestyle, and mindset. I believe living a nourished life doesn’t have to be all or nothing because life is about balance and finding what works for you.
What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?
Riyana:
- My clean-in-15 program. A group program for women to teach them how to listen to their unique bodies, and eat, live and feel better.
My next two are recipes – I am a huge foodie and live for creating delicious food that not only tastes good but makes you feel good.
- My recipe for a Paleo Chicken Tikka Masala – All the warm delicious creamy flavor without any of the stuff that might irritate our system.
- My Chocolate Tahini cake – If you are a chocolate lover, you will love this. It’s decadent, rich, and totally satisfies that deep dark chocolate craving. grain, dairy, and refined sugar free of course!
Where are you going next? Whatโs your goal for the next year?
Riyana: Definitely to reach a wider audience and connect with like-minded women looking to improve their wellbeing. Coming out with a small range of products and writing a cookbook are also two dreams of mine I plan to work towards this year.
How can we (and the Fed and Fit community) best support you?
Riyana: Definitely follow along on Instagram @healthyishandhappy and signup for my newsletter over at healthyishandhappy.com
