The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. This week, we’re interviewing Melanie Hernquist of Lucky and Lovely. Melanie says, “We celebrate women who love to live out loud, chase big dreams and are unapologetically changing the world.” Follow along as we learn more about Melanie:

Why did you start your business?
Melanie: As a former leader within a social selling company, I struggled to find unique incentive items to share with my team to reward them for their hard work so I created the Lucky + Lovely Shop. My hope is that you will find gorgeously giftable items to treat yourself and give to those special people in your life.
What’s your mission/purpose statement?
Melanie: We celebrate women who love to live out loud, chase big dreams and are unapologetically changing the world. The mission of Lucky + Lovely is to design gorgeous, giftable, and inspiring products that spark conversation and bring joy into people’s lives.
What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?
Melanie:
Where are you going next? What’s your goal for the next year?
Melanie: I love creating products that make people happy. My goal is to carve out more creative time to dream up and design collections for kid, baby, weddings and every day occasions. I would love to have an actual brick & mortar shop, where people could come in and take a fun class, have a beverage or snack while they browse our colorful goods and find the perfect gift and card for themselves or a friend. Our immediate goal is to expand our line into local retail boutiques across North America and bring our joyful, colorful inspiration to a shop near you.
