Welcome to our “Get to Know” series! Each Tuesday (for the next year), we’re going to introduce you to a creator in the wellness space that we think you NEED to know. The creators we feature are of various backgrounds. Whether they’re an online content creator, coach, or owner of a product-based brand, they each have their own niche in the wellness world and contribute to the space, as a whole, in an incredibly meaningful way. We’re setting this up Q&A-style so that you can learn more about each creator’s why, the content that they’re most proud of, and exactly how you can be a part of and contribute to their journey. We hope you enjoy our conversations with these wonderful people and brands. We know they’re going to enrich your lives!

This week, we’re interviewing Sharee Hill of Savory Spicerack. Sharee said her “intentions are to introduce you to International Dishes with my own special flair, Classic Favorites and Southern Cuisine.” Follow along as we learn more about Sharee:

Why did you start your business?

Sharee: I have always had a desire to do something with food. I always tucked the idea away and went into healthcare. I eventually fell in love with doing dinner parties and cameras/photography. These two collided and I developed a food blog! I began to love using my camera to create photos and began to focus on the art of food photography and taught myself food photography through different online education. Nothing brings me more joy than being in the kitchen creating. Sometimes it’s almost like therapy to open a cookbook and create something wonderful.

What’s your mission/purpose statement?

Sharee: With Savory Spicerack, my intentions are to introduce you to International Dishes with my own special flair, Classic Favorites and Southern Cuisine. We will explore so many spices in my cabinet and try them all in some kind of recipe here! There is something here for everyone – no matter where you are from or what your skill set is! All of my recipes were specifically designed to be approachable but also to teach you a few tips and tricks that will help to enhance your cooking technique. For the busy chefs out there, I also have super quick – but just as delicious – recipes and tips so you can get food on the table in a flash.

What 2 (or 3!) pieces of content are you the proudest of?

Sharee: Here are three recipes/content that are my favorite and I am most proud of! They are pretty popular on my website as well!

Where are you going next? What’s your goal for the next year?

Sharee: I have been revamping our website and recipes to create a more user- friendly experience. My goal this next year is to continue to update and improve our website/recipes to continue to create the ultimate user experience. I plan to also create more recipes using different spices and flavors to share with you all! I have also been working with clients providing food photography services this past year. I will continue to grow this food photography business as well this year.

How can we (and the Fed and Fit community) best support you?

Sharee: It will be awesome for the Fed and Fit community of readers to sign up for our newsletter to receive seasonal recipe recommendations and updates for our website.
