Cinnamon Dolce Latte Recipe Ingredients
You don’t need much to make this creamer recipe! Find ingredient notes (including substitutions and swaps) below.
- Whole milk – while we think that whole milk is the way to go here (it takes the creaminess to the next level), you can absolutely use any milk that you love. Feel free to use 2%, oat milk, almond milk, or any other variation you can find!
- Sweetened condensed milk – this is our favorite sweetened condensed milk!
- Cinnamon – we recommend grabbing Ceylon cinnamon if you can find it – it has a lighter, spicier flavor than regular (cassia) cinnamon.
A full ingredient list with exact amounts can be found in the recipe card below.
Recipe Variations and Modifications
- Swap the milks – we chose whole milk for this recipe, but you can truly use whatever you have on hand. Half and half, 2%, oat milk, and almond milk will all work.
- Make it dairy-free – swap both the whole milk and sweetened condensed milk for non-dairy versions if you’re looking to make this recipe dairy-free. This sweetened condensed coconut milk is really yummy!
How to Make a Cinnamon Dolce Latte
This recipe is incredibly easy to make – all you need is a bowl and a whisk! Follow along below for the full how-to.
Step 1: Add the whole milk, sweetened condensed milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt to a bowl.
Step 2: Use a whisk to combine until the ingredients are well combined and the mixture is slightly frothy.
Step 3: Pour the cinnamon dolce creamer into your cup of coffee, then use a spoon to stir the creamer in.
Step 4: Top your drink with whipped cream and cinnamon, if you’d like, and enjoy!
Recipe Tip
You can absolutely store your cinnamon dolce creamer in the fridge, but because it’s homemade and does not contain any stabilizers, give it a good shake before pouring it into your coffee to combine any separation.
How to Serve
Serve your creamer with hot or iced coffee, and for the most coffee shop-like experience, be sure to dollop whipped cream (regular homemade whipped cream or dairy-free whipped cream) on top, followed by a sprinkle of cinnamon!
How to Store
Store the cinnamon dolce coffee creamer in an airtight jar (think: mason jar) in the fridge. Be sure to check the expiration date on your milk – you’ll want to use your creamer by that date!
Frequently Asked Questions
A cinnamon dolce latte is made with some sort of coffee (espresso, cold brew, hot drip coffee, etc.), milk, cinnamon, and a sweetener.
You can absolutely make an iced Cinnamon Dolce Latte! Simply pour cold brew (Explorer Cold Brew is our favorite) or regular coffee over ice, then add the cinnamon dolce creamer, mix, and enjoy!
Espresso, drip coffee, or cold brew will all work. Use whichever is your favorite!
Cold brew and iced coffee are not the same! Cold brew is brewed in cold water for 12ish hours, making it higher in caffeine than regular brewed coffee. Iced coffee is brewed hot (think: regular brewed coffee in a coffee pot) and then poured over ice.
Starbucks makes their Cinnamon Dolce Latte with steamed milk, espresso, and a cinnamon dolce-flavored syrup and topped with whipped cream and “cinnamon dolce topping.”
